Chickenista is a proudly Canadian-owned, family-run halal restaurant on Brant Street in the heart of Downtown Burlington. Our promise is simple: we don’t do fast food, we do fresh food.
Chickenista started at home, with the whole family working together. We spent months testing, tweaking and tasting until every recipe tasted exactly right. The result is the golden crunch of classic North American fried chicken, paired with the bold, bright flavours of the Mediterranean.
We believe comfort food should never be mass-produced or left sitting under a heat lamp. Every order, chicken and shrimp included, is breaded, cooked and assembled fresh when you order it, so it arrives hot, golden and juicy, never rushed.
Start with our signature Fried Chicky, hand-breaded tenders or juicy wings, in Mild, Spicy or fiery Nashville Hot. Love seafood? Try our crispy golden shrimp. Then explore the rest of the menu: handcrafted falafel, Sub Tornadoes, loaded poutines, and fresh burgers and wraps.
Stopping by for a quick solo lunch? We’ve got you. Feeding the whole table? Our family feast platters are made for sharing. Either way, you’ll get food made with care and served with real hospitality.
